The Gulf Crisis and After
Although having suffered more than thirty five million
dollars since the Gulf Crisis,Turkey abides by the U.N.S.C.
resolutions regarding Iraq. Yet, Turkey has emphasized on
every occasion the importance she places on the territorial
integrity of Iraq and the friendly sentiments felt by the
Turkish people for the Iraqi people.
Turkey plays an important role in the Ankara Peace Process
to ensure tranquility in northern Iraq and maintains its
efforts for the attainment of peace and stability in the
region.
